The Planning Council, as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) responsible for the Broward County Land Use Plan, considered the following proposed amendments, PC 18-3 and PCT 18-2, at its November 20, 2017, public hearing and recommended approval, subject to the City addressing the community parks acreage requirement and conducting additional public outreach prior to the Planning Council second public hearing (Vote of the Planning Council; 14-1; Yes: Blackwelder, Blattner, Brunson, Castillo, Ganz, Gomez, Good, Graham, Rosenzweig, Ryan, Seiler, Udine, Williams and DiGiorgio.
