MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution No. 2018-088 accepting an easement for traffic control devices at 304, 306 and 440 SW 145 Avenue in Pembroke Pines from PP Omni Ventures, LLC, at no cost to the County; authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute same and authorize recordation of same. (Commission District 6)

Board of County Commissioners' approval is required to accept an interest in real property pursuant to Broward County Administrative Code, Section 6.23.

Provides Broward County with an easement for future construction and maintenance of traffic control devices and pedestrian safety features.

THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION AND TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The Easement Agreement will convey a rectangular-shaped easement for traffic control devices measuring approximately 4 feet by 15 feet from PP Omni Ventures, LLC to Broward County. The easement is located at the southeast corner of the property in the City of Pembroke Pines. It will allow the County to construct, maintain and repair traffic control devices and pedestrian safety features over a portion of the property identified as Folio No. 5140-15-09-0010.

All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
