Why Action is Necessary
Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
What Action Accomplishes
Approves a non-vehicular access line amendment adjacent to the plat, subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

This plat is located on approximately 86 acres on the west of Weston Road, between Arvida Parkway and Royal Palm Boulevard, in the City of Weston. The applicant is requesting to amend the non-vehicular access line to allow for a right-turn in / right-turn out service driveway along Bonaventure Boulevard for a proposed cellular tower. See attached Staff Report.
