MOTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL of a plat entitled Whispering Oaks (007-MP-17). (Commission District 7)

ACTION:  (T-10:27 AM)  Approved the plat subject to staff’s recommendations as outlined in the Development Review Report.
 
VOTE: 8-0.  Commissioner Ryan was not present during the vote.

Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves the plat subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 36 single family detached units on Lots 1-36; utility and drainage easement on Parcel A; a conservation easement on Parcel B; a recreational and water management area on Parcel C; and park use on Parcel D on approximately 6.7 acre, located on the west side of Southwest 25 Avenue and south of Griffin Road, in the City of Dania Beach.
