MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution No. 2017-559 accepting a warranty deed for property at 10820 West Sample Road in Coral Springs from Coral Springs Apartments, LLC., at no cost to the County; authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute same; and authorize recordation of same. (Commission District 3)

ACTION:  (T-10:27 AM)  Approved.
 
VOTE: 8-0.  Commissioner Ryan was not present during the vote.

Board of County Commissioners' approval is required to accept an interest in real property pursuant to Broward County Administrative Code, Section 6.23.

The property is needed for an expanded bus landing pad which will improve traffic safety and accommodate present and future transportation improvements.

THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

Coral Springs Apartments, LLC. owns the property located at 10820 West Sample Road in Coral Springs, identified by Folio Number 4841-20-01-7860. The County desires a portion of the property measuring approximately 350 square feet for the installation of an expanded bus landing pad, which will improve traffic safety and accommodate present and future transportation improvements.  

All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
