Summary Explanation/Background
On January 17, 2018, the Broward County Domestic Violence Summit ("Summit") will take place at Nova Southeastern University Taft Center in Davie, Florida. The Summit will focus on a strategic review of services available to adult survivors of domestic violence and their children in Broward County with the goal of identifying service delivery gaps and unmet needs and developing a comprehensive plan to address issues surrounding domestic violence.

A contribution of $5,000 would allow organizers to open the event to a broader cross-section of the Broward County community, including students, survivors of domestic violence, and human services providers.
