VOTE: 9-0.  Commissioner Geller voted in the affirmative telephonically.

County Commission must approve travel.

Approves travel for Commissioner Rich to Tallahassee and Orlando.

During its regular 2017 session, the Florida Legislature created a short term Affordable Housing Workgroup (Chapter 2017-71, Section 46 [pages 28-29], Laws of Florida). The workgroup is tasked with developing recommendations to address the state’s affordable housing needs. Commissioner Rich was appointed to the Workgroup by the Florida Association of Counties and has travelled twice to Tallahassee and once to Orlando for Workgroup meetings.
