The Planning Council, as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) responsible for the Broward County Land Use Plan, considered the following proposed map amendment, PC 18-2, at its October 26, 2017, public hearing, and recommended approval, subject to the applicant's voluntary commitments regarding transportation improvements, meeting with School Board staff regarding safety issues and contributing $500 per additional dwelling unit towards affordable housing (Vote of the Planning Council; 11-4; Yes: Blattner, Brunson, Castillo, DiGiorgio, Ganz, Gomez, Rosenof, Rosenzweig, Udine, Williams and Stermer. No: Blackwelder, Good, Graham and Grosso)

From Agricultural to Irregular (3.21) Residential
Approximately 120.0 acres; generally located on the southwest corner of Southwest 172 Avenue and Bass Creek Road.
