MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution No. 2017-528 accepting a traffic control devices easement executed by 3101 Tamarac, LLC located at the northwest corner of Commercial Boulevard and NW 31st Avenue in the City of Tamarac, at a nominal cost of $1 to Broward County. (Commission District 9)

ACTION:  (T-10:32 AM)  Approved.

VOTE:  8-0.  Commissioner LaMarca was not present.

Board of County Commissioners’ approval is required pursuant to Florida case law for conveyance of interest in property to Broward County.

Accepts an easement for future construction and maintenance of traffic control devices and pedestrian features.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL

The Resolution will convey a rectangular-shaped traffic control devices easement, measuring five feet by 18 feet, from 3101 Tamarac, LLC to Broward County. The easement is located at the northwest corner of Commercial Boulevard and Northwest 31st Avenue in the City of Tamarac. The easement would allow the County to construct, maintain and repair traffic control devices and pedestrian features over a portion of the property.

The Resolution and traffic control devices easement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
