MOTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL of a modification to conditions of plat approval on Dania Pointe (035-MP-15). (Commission District 7)

Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves modifications to conditions of plat approval subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

This plat, located on 102.1 acres on the northwest corner of Stirling Road and Bryan Road, in the City of Dania Beach, is currently restricted to 893,000 square feet of commercial use, 506,000 square feet of office, 7,000 square feet of bank, 300 room hotel, a service station with 12 fueling positions and 1,000 high rise units. The applicant is requesting to modify conditions to roadway related improvements and timing. See attached Staff Report.
