MOTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL of a modification to conditions of plat approval on the Toyota of Hollywood (044-MP-15). (Commission District 6)

VOTE:  9-0.

Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves modifications to conditions of plat approval subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

This plat is located on approximately 7.5 acres on the east side of State Road 7, at Harding Street, in the City of Hollywood, was approved for 165,000 square feet of auto dealership and 433,000 square feet of auto storage. The applicant is requesting to eliminate requirements to construct a bus landing pad and associated improvements. Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) currently has projects for the same improvements under construction nearby. See attached Staff Report.
