MOTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL of a modification to conditions of plat approval on the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery (014-MP-91). (Commission District 9)

VOTE:  9-0.

Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves modifications to conditions of plat approval subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

This plat, located on 99.8 acres north of Cypress Creek Road and west of the Florida Turnpike, in the City of North Lauderdale, is currently restricted to cemetery use. Construction of a bus bay was a condition of plat approval. The applicant is requesting to eliminate the proposed bus pullout bay on State Road 7 since two similar bays have already been constructed in the area. See attached Staff Report.
