Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The Broward County Transportation Department is in the process of consolidating two non-ADA compliant bus stops along the south side of Sample Road just west of University Drive into one ADA compliant bus stop in an effort to better accommodate disabled passengers and to increase safety. A suitable site was identified between the two existing bus stops. The site is located on the south side of Sample Road approximately 95 feet east of NW 94th Avenue in Coral Springs. The property, owned by Amera 3300 Lands, LTD, is an office complex located at 3300 University Drive and identified by Folio Number 4841-21-01-0022. The proposed easement allows the County to construct the bus stop and expand the sidewalk.

All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
